Your design,
in the right hands.
Most builders look for the easiest way to build something.
We look for the right way.
Working alongside architects, designers, and developers on bespoke homes across South Wiltshire.
Considered Designs, Properly Delivered
We specialise in one-off residential builds. The kind of projects that ask more of a contractor than a standard house does, and reward the extra thought when they're finished.
Most of our work is with private clients on bespoke new builds, renovations, and extensions across south Wiltshire and the surrounding area. We also partner with developers on smaller residential schemes where craftsmanship and attention to detail matter as much as the programme.
Whether you're at the concept stage or ready to tender, we'd be glad to talk.
Why Architects Work With Us
We've been told by architects we've worked alongside that our sites are amongst the tidiest and best-run they've come across. That our attention to structural detail is stronger than they're used to seeing. And that we make their work on site easier.
Those aren't claims we'd make about ourselves. They're the things professionals say when they've worked with us.
We don't cut corners, and we don't simplify a design to get it done faster. We work through the detail because that's where the quality is, and because we know that's what you need from a contractor.
Quality, Communication, Care
A few things are built into every project we take on, without needing to be asked for.
Every client has a dedicated, office-based project administrator from day one. A named point of contact who knows the job, answers the phone, and keeps communication clear from quote to handover. Your client isn't chasing a site team for updates, and you aren't either.
Before any project is signed off, our team carries out an internal defect rectification review against our own quality standards. Anything we find, we fix. We return again at twelve and twenty-four weeks after handover to check the work and address anything the client has noted since moving in.
Neighbours are always in our thoughts. From how we manage deliveries and noise to how the site is left at the end of each day, we treat the surrounding community with the same respect we give our clients.
Involved Early, Priced Properly
The most valuable thing a contractor can offer is involvement before the groundworks begin.
Not to change your design. To support it. Brought in early, we'll work through buildability with you, sharpen the programme, and make sure the project is set up correctly from the start. Problems spotted on a drawing are far cheaper to solve than problems uncovered on site.
Transparent, thorough pricing sits at the centre of how we work. We go through the numbers carefully, line by line, so there are no unpleasant discoveries once work is underway. That protects your client's budget, and it protects your reputation too.
One recent project in Farley, Wiltshire, shows what early involvement can deliver. The client wanted a contemporary barn with a full basement level on a modest budget. By being in the room from the design stage, we helped shape a build that punched well above its numbers. The kind of result that only happens when the builder is part of the conversation early.
Our Process
1. Early Conversation
We start with a call or a meeting, ideally while your design is still taking shape. You walk us through the project, the client, and what you're hoping the build will achieve. We listen properly, ask the questions that matter, and give you a clear sense of how we'd approach it.
2. Buildability and Pricing
Brought in at this stage, we work through the drawings with a practical eye. We flag anything that might cause difficulty on site, suggest refinements where they genuinely help, and prepare a detailed, line-by-line quotation. You and your client see exactly what's included and what it costs before anything is committed.
3. On Site
Once we're underway, communication is constant. Your client has a named project administrator from day one, and we keep you updated at the rhythm that suits your involvement. Variations are documented and agreed in writing before any work proceeds, and monthly cost reports mean no one is guessing where the budget stands.
4. Handover and Beyond
We don't consider a project finished at handover. Our team carries out an internal defect review before we sign off, and we return at twelve and twenty-four weeks to check the work and address anything the client has raised. The relationship doesn't end when the keys change hands.
